Tweetie

A sub-adult import Kofiau Island type female showing typical "Canary" colors. Imported in the spring of 2006, she was very calm and easy to start. This girl has been one of the most difficult animals I've had to photograph and her true colors just cannot be protrayed by pictures. This once HIGHLIGHTER YELLOW chondro began a color shift that lasted only 4 days, turning from yellow to deep green with blue diamonds.

Much is still to be learned about this natural occuring "designer" chondro in the way of adult coloration. There are many that have stayed brilliant yellow as large adults, while most transform into light green animals with a yellow dusty look. This locale type is also know for day to day color shifting from light green to mostly yellow.
